When we decided to ride our e-bikes from Central Europe to Greece, it was Albania that terrified us the most. The information about road conditions was scary, and so were the ideas our friends and family had about Albania. But how did it actually turn out?
Slovakia isn't just the Tatras and Bratislava. We fell in love with Central Slovakia, explored the Banská Bystrica region, visited the Bank of Love, descended into a mine, and discovered a village so romantic it could rival the famous Hallstatt.
After our wedding, we set off on a long-distance e-bike trip to Greece to see what such a journey really involves. It was one of the most interesting months of our lives — a true adventure, but one we'll never repeat.
