If you are a visitor to our blog, a subscriber to our news or free courses, or our customer, you provide us with your personal data. We process your data and are responsible for its security. We promise that we protect your data adequately and comply with the requirements of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
We do not sell any product, so you are not our customers but visitors to our blog. However, we are planning to sell our own products in the future, which is why this document also contains the principles and rights of customers. Maybe you will become one someday too. 🙂
The controller of your personal data is Lukáš (Lucka isn’t even peeking over his shoulder!)
The controller of personal data is Lukáš Konečný, Velké náměstí 27/19, Písek 397 01, Company ID (IČO): 88563766, who operates the website loudavymkrokem.cz. Lukáš manages your data and determines how long the personal data will be processed and for what purpose. He also selects the other processors we use for processing.
What data we process and why
We process your personal data primarily so that we can provide you with the best possible content and send you free stuff. The individual reasons for processing:
-
E-mail campaigns and newsletters
You are a reader: We send you news or free courses that you have signed up for by e-mail. We process your e-mail address and track what you click on in our e-mails and what types of e-mails from us you open, in order to better select content that might interest you.
You are a customer: We process your e-mail address and track what you click on in our e-mails and what types of e-mails from us you open for the purpose of direct marketing – sending commercial communications. If you are our customer, we send you news on the basis of legitimate interest, which we reasonably assume you have.
-
Competitions and giveaways
If you take part in one of our competitions, we process your e-mail address solely for the purpose of contacting you if you win. After the competition ends, we will delete your contact details from our database unless you explicitly confirm your consent to receiving further e-mails.
-
Provision of services, performance of a business contract and keeping accounts
If you are our customer, we process the following personal data of yours for the performance of a contract (e.g. sending login information for an online course, entering it into our accounts): billing details and e-mail address.
We process personal data for as long as your consent lasts, but no longer than 10 years from the granting of consent or from your last order.
Transfer of personal data to third parties
Your data is processed by the controller Lukáš Konečný, using two other processors, the companies ConvertKit and Sumo, whose processing consists of storing data on secure cloud servers.
So that we can measure how you like our blog, where you spend the most time and what you click on, we use other service providers for certain processing operations. They are:
Google – Google Analytics by means of a tracking code
Facebook – FB Pixel by means of a tracking code.
How you can contact us
Whatever question or request you may have for us, you can contact us at the e-mail address: ahoj@loudavymkrokem.cz.
Transfer of your data outside the European Union
We process your data exclusively in the European Union or in countries that ensure an adequate level of protection on the basis of a decision of the European Commission.
Security and protection of personal data
Your data is safe with us. We have adopted technical measures that ensure the security of personal data by encrypting data transfer using the HTTPS protocol (that little padlock next to our URL ;-)) and we have secured your personal data in accordance with Article 32 of the GDPR.
Your rights in connection with personal data protection
You have a number of rights in connection with personal data protection. If you wish to exercise any of these rights, please contact us by e-mail: ahoj@loudavymkrokem.cz
You have the right to information, which you are reading right now. 🙂
Thanks to the right of access, you can ask us at any time and we will show you within 30 days what personal data of yours we process and why. If something changes for you or you find your personal data out of date or incomplete, you have the right to have your personal data completed and changed.
The right to restriction of processing can be exercised if you believe that we are processing inaccurate data about you, if you believe that we are processing it unlawfully but you do not want all the data deleted, or if you have objected to the processing. You can restrict the scope of the personal data or the purposes of processing.
Right to erasure (to be forgotten)
Another of your rights is the right to erasure (to be forgotten). We don’t want to forget you, but if you wish, you have the right to it. 😞 In that case, we will delete all your personal data from our system as well as from the systems of all sub-processors and backups. We need 30 days to ensure the right to erasure.
In some cases we are bound by a legal obligation and, for example, I must keep records of issued tax documents for the period prescribed by law. In that case, we will therefore delete all such personal data that is not bound by another law. We will inform you by e-mail once the erasure is complete.
Complaint to the Czech Office for Personal Data Protection
If you feel that we are not handling your data in accordance with the law, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the Czech Office for Personal Data Protection at any time. We would be very glad if you informed us of this suspicion first, so that we can do something about it and remedy any mistake.
Unsubscribing from newsletters and commercial communications
If you are our customer, we send you e-mails with inspiration, articles, or products and services on the basis of our legitimate interest.
If you are not a customer yet, we send them to you only on the basis of your consent. In both cases, you can unsubscribe from our e-mails by clicking the unsubscribe link in every e-mail we send.
Confidentiality
We are obliged to maintain confidentiality about personal data and about security measures whose disclosure would jeopardise the security of your personal data. This confidentiality continues even after the end of any contractual relationship with us. We will also not disclose your data to any other third party without your consent.
This Privacy Policy takes effect on 25 May 2018
Tips and Tricks for Your Vacation
Don’t Overpay for Flights
Search for flights on Kayak. It’s our favorite search engine because it scans the websites of all airlines and always finds the cheapest connection.
Book Your Accommodation Smartly
The best experiences we’ve had when looking for accommodation (from Alaska to Morocco) are with Booking.com, where hotels, apartments, and entire houses are usually the cheapest and most widely available.
Don’t Forget Travel Insurance
Good travel insurance will protect you against illness, accidents, theft, or flight cancellations. We’ve had a few hospital visits abroad, so we know how important it is to have proper insurance arranged.
Where we insure ourselves: SafetyWing (simple monthly subscription) and TrueTraveller (for extra-long trips).
Find the Best Experiences
Get Your Guide is a huge online marketplace where you can book guided walks, trips, skip-the-line tickets, tours, and much more. We always find some extra fun there!
