According to the locals, this long lake is at least seven shades of blue and its clarity will take your breath away. If you are not staying in a hotel that has access to the lagoon,<b> you can use one of the public beaches (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.google.com\/search?q=bacalar+public+beach&amp;oq=bacalar+public+beach&amp;aqs=chrome..69i57.2106j0j4&amp;sourceid=chrome&amp;ie=UTF-8#\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Balneario Ecologico<\/a>), the entrance fee in 2019 was only 3 pesos (about 3.20 CZK).<\/b><\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"2_Rent_a_kayak\"><\/span>2) Rent a kayak<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p><b>One of the best activities in Bacalar is kayaking. <\/b>Kayaking can be done either as part of an organized trip or on your own. They will show you a place where you can take a mud bath and take you to the bird island. It is the oldest ruins we have visited. People inhabited this city as early as 200 BC and as late as 600 AD. So if you like pizza at least a little bit, we recommend a stop here. <b>We haven&#8217;t had better pizza in Italy <\/b>(I&#8217;m not exaggerating!). Mexicans generally don&#8217;t rush anywhere, but here, the menu warns you that you&#8217;ll have to wait for your food.
