Je\u0161t\u011bd in the Czech Republic<\/strong>, standing 1,012 metres above sea level, isn’t just an ordinary hill above the city of Liberec \u2014 it’s a place where breathtaking nature meets architecture that has collected awards from all over the world. Whether you come here for fantastic views, sporting adventures, or you long to spend a night in a one-of-a-kind retro hotel in the clouds<\/strong>, this trip is guaranteed to win you over.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

If you’re coming here for the first time, I have to flag one absolutely crucial thing right at the start<\/strong> that catches a lot of visitors off guard on the spot. The cable car from Horn\u00ed Hanychov straight to the summit is currently not running<\/strong> and won’t be for several more years. Don’t let that put you off at all, though, because there are still plenty of ways to get to the top, and the journey itself through the beautiful nature of the Je\u0161t\u011bd\u2013Koz\u00e1kov ridge is worth it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Here you’ll find everything you need for the trip \u2014 from parking, to a coffee with a view, to a tip on when to set off so you’re greeted by a sea of clouds instead of grey fog.
