The first time I stood on the shore of a glacial lake in Canada’s Banff National Park and tried to dip my hand in, it nearly froze and fell off. \ud83d\ude05 That impossibly vivid turquoise colour<\/strong> tempted me to jump in for a swim, but the temperature hovering just above freezing dragged me back to reality very quickly.
