Bene\u0161e<\/strong>, open daily from 10am to 7pm, with the final day finishing at 3pm. The Christmas tree lighting<\/strong> takes place on Sunday 23 November outside Liberec town hall, when the fir tree\u2014decked out with Moravian star lights and light chains\u2014switches on. Expect around 40 stalls selling food and crafts, plus Fiala’s mechanical nativity scene, a festive Ferris wheel and a little train running between the squares, with a handful of extra stalls on nearby Soukenn\u00e9 n\u00e1m\u011bst\u00ed. There’s mulled wine, homemade punch, chimney cakes, gingerbread, roasted chestnuts and handmade pralines to try.
