The caravan has a consumption of 10-11 liters.  <\/p>\n\n<p>The caravan has a shower, toilet, refrigerator, and kitchenette. It comfortably sleeps 4-5 people depending on the rented caravan. The caravan also has a bike rack, of course, but you can also put them in the storage compartment like we did. A number of cycling routes lead from here, which is why it is very popular for cycling trips.   <\/p>\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Jurkovic_Lookout_Tower\"><\/span>Jurkovi\u010d Lookout Tower<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h4>\n\n<p>The Jurkovi\u010d Lookout Tower looks like something out of a fairytale, it stands on top of <strong>Karl\u016fv kopec<\/strong> above Ro\u017enov pod Radho\u0161t\u011bm and was only completed in 2011. A relatively steep yet short path leads to it. Most of the buildings here are original but were relocated here; some structures are replicas created according to archives and field research.  <strong>The tour will take you 1.5 \u2013 2 hours, refreshments are available on site.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n<p>If you have a stroller with you, we recommend visiting the Wooden Town, which is smaller, but you can easily move around with a stroller here. <\/p>\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Pustevny\"><\/span>Pustevny<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3>\n\n<p>Pustevny is one of the most visited parts of Beskydy and is located on the border of the Moravian-Silesian and Zl\u00edn Regions near the mythical Radho\u0161\u0165 mountain.<\/p>\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Jurkovic_Shelters\"><\/span>Jurkovi\u010d Shelters<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h4>\n\n<p>In Pustevny, you will find the famous <strong>Jurkovi\u010d Shelters<\/strong>, as accommodation for tourists was once called. Du\u0161an Jurkovi\u010d built two accommodation and hospitality buildings here in the folk Art Nouveau style, which were named <strong>Libu\u0161\u00edn<\/strong> and <strong>Mam\u011bnka<\/strong>. These fairytale buildings attract tourists to Pustevny in both summer and winter months. They have stood here since 1899.    <\/p>\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1200\" height=\"800\" src=\"https:\/\/www.loudavymkrokem.cz\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/05\/jurkovicovy-utulny.jpg\" alt=\"Jurkovi&#x10D; Shelters &#x2013; Beskydy\" class=\"wp-image-56811\" title=\"\"><figcaption class=\"wp-element-caption\">Jurkovi\u010d Shelters<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Valaska_Trail\"><\/span>Vala\u0161ka Trail<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h4>\n\n<p>A few steps beyond Pustevny, you&#8217;ll find a relatively new skywalk called Vala\u0161ka Trail, which takes you above the treetops. From the trail, there are beautiful views of Beskydy, but be prepared for a high admission fee (family 600 CZK). <\/p>\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Radegast_Statue\"><\/span>Radegast Statue<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h4>\n\n<p><strong>From Pustevny, you can head to the Radegast statue, which you&#8217;ll find on the way to Radho\u0161\u0165<\/strong>. The path is also suitable for strollers. <\/p>\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.loudavymkrokem.cz\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/05\/radegast.jpg\" alt=\"Radegast Statue on Radho&#x161;&#x165;\" class=\"wp-image-56813\" title=\"\"><figcaption class=\"wp-element-caption\">Radegast Statue on Radho\u0161\u0165<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Radhost_Peak\"><\/span>Radho\u0161\u0165 Peak<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3>\n\n<p><strong>If the walk to Radegast isn&#8217;t enough for you, you can continue further to Radho\u0161\u0165 Peak. <\/strong>If the weather is good, you will see not only the entire Beskydy and Wallachia from here, but also Jesen\u00edky, Mal\u00e1 Fatra, and Ve\u013ek\u00e1 Fatra.<\/p>\n\n<p><strong>Today, the Chapel of Saints Cyril and Methodius from the late 19th century stands on Radho\u0161\u0165.  <\/strong>Unfortunately, the view of the chapel is somewhat marred by a television transmitter, which was built right next to it in 1931. <\/p>\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1200\" height=\"800\" src=\"https:\/\/www.loudavymkrokem.cz\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/05\/kaple-cyrila-a-metodeje.jpg\" alt=\"Chapel of Cyril and Methodius on Radho&#x161;&#x165;\" class=\"wp-image-56812\" title=\"\"><figcaption class=\"wp-element-caption\">Chapel of Cyril and Methodius on Radho\u0161\u0165<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"How_to_get_to_Pustevny\"><\/span>How to get to Pustevny<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3>\n\n<p><strong>You can get to Pustevny in several ways.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>If you don&#8217;t have a dog like us, <strong>you can take the cable car from Trojanovice<\/strong> (parking opposite Hotel R\u00e1ztoka). <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>You can also drive to Pustevny<\/strong>, but parking cost us 150 CZK during the weekend. You can take the orange or yellow bear trail, but if you don&#8217;t have time, stairs lead directly to them from the road. <\/p>\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1200\" height=\"800\" src=\"https:\/\/www.loudavymkrokem.cz\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/05\/vodopady-satiny-loudavym-krokem.jpg\" alt=\"Satiny Waterfalls\" class=\"wp-image-56814\" title=\"\"><figcaption class=\"wp-element-caption\">Satiny Waterfalls<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Wooden_Church_of_Saint_Frederick\"><\/span><br\/>Wooden Church of Saint Frederick<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3>\n\n<p><strong>The charming and somewhat mysterious wooden Church of Saint Frederick is located in the village of B\u00edl\u00e1.<\/strong> It was built between 1873-1874 by the Archbishop of Olomouc and stands out significantly from other churches in the area in terms of both appearance and construction.<\/p>\n\n<p><strong>Various myths circulate about the church. One says that it was built according to a Nordic model, which the Archbishop of Olomouc purchased at the World Exhibition in Vienna. <\/strong> For its construction, a very unusual design for Czech standards was chosen, called <strong>stavkirche<\/strong>. This construction was used in Norway in the 11th century.   <\/p>\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1200\" height=\"800\" src=\"https:\/\/www.loudavymkrokem.cz\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/05\/kostel-svateho-bedricha.jpg\" alt=\"Church of Saint Frederick\" class=\"wp-image-56816\" title=\"\"><figcaption class=\"wp-element-caption\">Church of Saint Frederick<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Pribor\"><\/span>P\u0159\u00edbor<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3>\n\n<p>If you are going on a longer vacation to Beskydy, be sure to also stop in the <strong>birthplace of the world-renowned psychologist Sigmund Freud<\/strong>. In P\u0159\u00edbor, you will find two exhibitions dedicated to him. One is in his birth house on Z\u00e1menick\u00e1 Street, and the other can be found in the Memorial Hall of the local museum.  <\/p>\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Stramberk\"><\/span>\u0160tramberk <span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3>\n\n<p><strong>This romantic town in the Nov\u00fd Ji\u010d\u00edn district near Kop\u0159ivnice is primarily known in Moravia for \u0160tramberk Ears<\/strong>, which is a gingerbread-dough delicacy shaped like a cone.<\/p>\n\n<p>A local legend says that they originated during the Mongol invasion in 1241, when the enemy army set up camp at the foot of the nearby Kotou\u010d hill. After a night storm, the inhabitants of \u0160tramberk dug through the pond dam and flooded the camp. When the water receded, people found only sacks with salted human ears here. In memory of this event, \u0160tramberk Ears began to be baked.   <\/p>\n\n<p><strong>The dominant feature of the town is \u0160tramberk Castle with its Gothic tower Tr\u00faba, which today serves as a lookout tower<\/strong>, in the town, you will find the \u0160tramberk Museum and the Zden\u011bk Burian Museum. <\/p>\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1200\" height=\"900\" src=\"https:\/\/www.loudavymkrokem.cz\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/05\/stramberk.jpg\" alt=\"&#x160;tramberk Town\" class=\"wp-image-56823\" title=\"\"><figcaption class=\"wp-element-caption\">\u0160tramberk Town (Source: Wikipedia)<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Bila_Hora_Lookout_Tower\"><\/span>B\u00edl\u00e1 Hora Lookout Tower<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3>\n\n<p><strong>The 28 m lookout tower on B\u00edl\u00e1 hora hill is a very popular tourist destination from Kop\u0159ivnice and \u0160tramberk.<\/strong> The concrete structure with a view of Beskydy has stood here for twenty years, and the architect of the design was Milan \u0160m\u00edd. You can get here by following the blue trail from \u0160tramberk or Kop\u0159ivnice. Both routes are approximately 2 km long. You can reach the lookout tower by bike or with a stroller.    <\/p>\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"600\" height=\"400\" src=\"https:\/\/www.loudavymkrokem.cz\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/05\/rozhledna-bila-hora.jpg\" alt=\"B&#xED;l&#xE1; hora Lookout Tower\" class=\"wp-image-56825\" title=\"\"><figcaption class=\"wp-element-caption\">B\u00edl\u00e1 hora Lookout Tower (Source: rozhledna-bila-hora.cz)<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Lysa_Hora_1323_M_aSL\"><\/span>Lys\u00e1 Hora 1323 M a.S.L.   <span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3>\n\n<p>A number of trails lead to Lys\u00e1 hora, the easiest one is from Visalaje following the red trail, the most popular one leads from Ostravice. <strong>The highest peak of the Moravian-Silesian Beskydy is one of the most popular tourist destinations, so it&#8217;s better to go here outside of the weekend. <\/strong><\/p>\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1200\" height=\"800\" src=\"https:\/\/www.loudavymkrokem.cz\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/05\/vyhledy-z-beskyd.jpg\" alt=\"Views from the Beskydy hills\" class=\"wp-image-56826\" title=\"\"><figcaption class=\"wp-element-caption\">Views from the Beskydy hills<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Smrk\"><\/span>Smrk<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3>\n\n<p>Like Lys\u00e1 hora, Smrk is also one of the most visited peaks in Beskydy. If you prefer to avoid tourists, choose the yellow trail from the \u0160ance reservoir in Star\u00e9 Hamry, which is less popular. The traditional route follows the red trail from Ostravice or \u010celadn\u00e1. Bring snacks and plenty of water with you; by Czech standards, the route is quite demanding, and there are no refreshments along the way.   <\/p>\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Tatra_Museum_Koprivnice\"><\/span>Tatra Museum Kop\u0159ivnice<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3>\n\n<p>In unfavorable weather, you can head to the Tatra Car Museum in Kop\u0159ivnice. The museum maps the development of the automotive industry from Austria-Hungary. You will be surprised by a collection of beautiful design cars that once influenced the development of the automotive industry worldwide.   <\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Where_to_Eat_and_Have_Good_Coffee_in_Beskydy\"><\/span>Where to Eat and Have Good Coffee in Beskydy<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n\n<p>In Ro\u017enov pod Radho\u0161t\u011bm, we liked the cafe <a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/Balloocoffee\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><strong>Balloo Coffee<\/strong><\/a>, where, in addition to great coffee, they also have excellent breakfasts, desserts, and soup at lunchtime. We liked it so much that we returned there not only every day but sometimes even several times. <\/p>\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1200\" height=\"800\" src=\"https:\/\/www.loudavymkrokem.cz\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/05\/zvonicka-strazkyne-beskyd.jpg\" alt=\"Bell Tower, Guardian of Beskydy (above Fren&#x161;t&#xE1;t)\" class=\"wp-image-56817\" title=\"\"><figcaption class=\"wp-element-caption\">Bell Tower, Guardian of Beskydy (above Fren\u0161t\u00e1t)<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n<p>Vegetarians will definitely head to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nashebistro.cz\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><strong>Nashe Bistro<\/strong><\/a>, which you can also find in town.
