Payment is made using a card called Antalyakart, onto which you load credit. One card can be used by a group of people; just tap it multiple times. You can buy the card either from the driver (it’s usually pre-loaded) or at kiosks or vending machines.

Another means of transport are trams, where you can also use Antalyakart, but they cannot be purchased from the driver.

Then there are the so-called Dolmuşes, which are mini-buses that serve as a supplement to public transport. Just tell the driver where you’re going, and they’ll tell you the price, which you pay them (cash is required). It’s usually around two lira (15 to 20 Czech crowns). However, you need to keep an eye on the route, as Turkish drivers do what they want. 😄

If you want to go on a trip to nearby towns or move further afield, I recommend using intercity buses and minibuses. Antalya has the Antalya Terminali bus station, from which you can get virtually anywhere.

Port of Antalya

Antalya, Turkey: 25 Best Things to Do and See

The city of Antalya, the capital of the province of the same name, has a lot to offer — from the ruins of ancient cities, through significant world museums, to natural phenomena.
