The weather&#8217;s still (or already) holding, the castles and chateaux are open, but the crowds aren&#8217;t as insane as during the summer holidays. Spring is lovely for walks around the T\u0159ebo\u0148 fishponds and the \u0160umava in bloom, while September is great for cycling trips, mushroom picking and the grape harvest around T\u00e1bor.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Summer (<strong>July and August<\/strong>) is fantastic if you&#8217;re heading for the water \u2013 Lipno, the swimming spots and the fishponds are buzzing. But be prepared for \u010cesk\u00fd Krumlov, Hola\u0161ovice and the popular chateaux to be packed, and accommodation in town centres significantly pricier. If you can, at least go on a weekday or early in the morning.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Winter has its charm too: <strong>cross-country skiing at Lipno<\/strong>, the Advent atmosphere and the Christmas markets in \u010cesk\u00e9 Bud\u011bjovice.
