The <strong>dry season from April to October<\/strong> is clearly the best time \u2013 less rain, pleasant humidity and stable conditions for both surfing and day trips. Peak season falls in July and August, when it&#8217;s gorgeous but pricey and packed.<\/p>\\n<p>The wet season from November to March doesn&#8217;t mean it rains all day \u2013 usually a heavy downpour rolls in during the afternoon and then it clears up again. On the plus side, everything is lush green, cheaper and less crowded.
